But look behind the curtains and you’ll discover a hidden surprise, you’re transported to an intimate 12-seat sushi speakeasy that feels like a secret you’re lucky to be in on. The vibe is relaxed yet elevated, with Sonny and his small but mighty team crafting a thoughtful dining experience. Every bite was fresh, clean, and clearly made with top-tier ingredients and the best nori I’ve ever tasted, no joke. We ordered: • The 5-piece Sushi Taco Set (so creative and beautifully balanced) • The Chef’s Choice Sashimi Plate (10 pristine cuts of fish) • And a truly unforgettable A5 Wagyu Nigiri that just melted like velvet in your mouth. I had a yuzu drink that was bright and citrusy, the perfect pairing for the richness of the fish. Then Sonny surprised us with a matcha-infused sake , something I never knew I needed, but now can’t stop thinking about. The best part? They found out it was our anniversary and brought out a gorgeous dessert topped with fresh berries and edible flowers along with a handwritten card signed by the staff. Total heart melter.
